Start by adding your first sale.

Use the record well

Keep the numbers useful after the day ends.

The tool is only as useful as the records inside it. Use these checks to keep the history clear enough to review, reconcile, and act on.

Record the sale once

Enter one real sale or order once. If an invoice payment is already recorded in LaunchBOS, do not add the same money again as other income.

Separate sale from cash received

An invoice or sale can exist before the customer pays. Keep outstanding money distinct from verified money received.

Use useful references

Add the customer, order, product or service description, payment method, and notes that help you identify the transaction later.

Reconcile the period

Compare the record with cash, bank, POS, or other trusted payment sources and investigate unexplained differences.

Review patterns

Use the period summaries to see total sales, transaction count, average sale, units sold, and which products or customers deserve a closer look.

Template → act → understand

Bring useful sales records into your business picture.

If the money is not already captured through an invoice payment, record it as other income so it can contribute to Business Health without double counting.
